Miller’s charge to rule at Hollywoodbets Greyville

Rulership is turning into a really decent sprinter and can make it three wins in a row when he lines up in Race 6, a MR 94 Handicap over 1000m, on the Polytrack at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Wednesday.

Trainer Michael Miller has done well with this three-year-old son of William Longsword who has run seven times for three wins and three places. Of particular relevance is that he has won his last two most impressively, and it appears the handicapper might not have caught up with him just yet.

Rulership has had two runs on the Polytrack, producing the fastest final 400m to run a 2.15-length third behind One Too Many and then again coming with a powerful finish two runs back to beat Hooves Of Troy going away by 1.50 lengths.

He proved that win was no fluke when running over 1000m on the turf, once again producing his customary potent finish to beat Stanley Park by three lengths with Hooves Of Troy in third, beaten 4.80 lengths despite being 2kg better off.

Hooves Of Troy, who will be reopposing again, franked the form of those two races by winning his next outing.

Serino Moodley has ridden Rulership in all of his races and is back in the irons once again.
