Racing at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Monday does not look easy but there are a few that catch the eye as decent value options.
Ndaka could be one of those and in doing so, could get punters off to winning start in Race 1, a Maiden Plate over 1000m, on the Polytrack.
He is an interesting runner. He has not been convincing on the Polytrack, but when he lines up today, he will jump from gate No 1 and will have Anton Marcus in the irons for the first time.
In a competitive race he could open his account at decent odds with a positive ride.
Marcus could also be on the mark in Race 3, a Maiden Plate for fillies and mares over 1800m, where he rides Spirit Of Nuna for trainer Vaughan Marshall.
This daughter of Elusive Fort had a rather inauspicious start to her racing career when she finished 14.75 lengths back over 1400m.
However, when moved to the Polytrack and upped in distance, her second run was a different story. Racing over 1900m Spirit Of Nuna was beaten 1.50 lengths into second place by Port Adelaide.
That race was in November last year and with normal improvement, she will take a power of beating this time.
