Exciting four-year-old Lucky My Way will chase a hat-trick of wins when he lines up in the Class 3 Handicap over 1200m at Sha Tin on Sunday.
From just four starts, Manfred Man-trained Lucky My Way has already returned two wins and a placing. He broke his maiden at big odds two runs back and quickly proved it was no fluke, following up with another emphatic victory when strongly supported in the market last time out. On both occasions, he unleashed a sharp turn of foot to sweep past his rivals over this trip.
Lucky My Way resumes off an eye-catching trial, running on strongly late without being pressured. Although tackling Class 3 for the first time, his untapped potential should stand him in good stead to keep his winning run going.
The Cody Mo-trained three-year-old Motor looks well placed to break through in the Restricted Class 4 Handicap over 1200m.
A consistent performer with two placings from five starts, Motor was last seen finishing a strong fourth in Griffin company back in July. On that occasion, the son of Fastnet Rock tracked the speed before sticking on gamely to be beaten just 1.50 lengths, finishing ahead of several rivals he meets again this week.
Standing out on collateral form, and with the advantage of an inside draw and regular partner Derek Leung in the saddle, Motor is expected to get every chance to shed his maiden status. - iRace Magazine
