Another runner who needs to be included in all bets is four-year-old filly Capricious Miss who runs in Race 3, an Open Maiden over 1400m.
Unlike Next Of Kin, this Alyson Wright-trained filly is proven on the Polytrack and she improved markedly last time when tried on the surface last time. Drawn wide over this course and distance, she came from last to finish second, beaten just 1.60-lengths.
She has now drawn in gate No 1 and will have Ant Mgudlwa
She will have to take on a few improving three-year-olds but due to this being a handicap the more dangerous looking youngster will only be receiving 1kg from Capricious Miss.
Capricious Miss not only has the draw advantage, but her maturity could see her stay ahead of inexperienced and immature horses who will improve with racing.
