JACKPOT GUIDE FOR HB KENILWORTH
Jackpot ONE Kenilworth Sun 2 June = Races 5 to 8
Sunday's card at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth features a R250,000 carryover to JACKPOT ONE with the pool likely to total over R1 million. Play your Jackpots before Race 5 at 13.50 and then you are in the running to get your share of an inflated payout. Here's a brief guide to the Jackpot ONE races.
Leg 1: Race 5 – Maiden Plate 1600m
On exposed form 3-MIDWAY, 5-TSUNAMI WARNING and 6-WATER DRAGON are the most likely winners of Leg 1, with 4-ETOILEFILLANTE and 8-APACHE CHIEF others to consider at a bigger price.
Leg 2: Race 6 - Class 4 1000m
4-PALO QUEEN, 1-SHE'S MY CAPTAIN and 7-TEQUILA SKY are closely matched on the form of a recent clash over the course and distance, so all three have to be included. 2-LOVE SHACK has been in good form recently and cannot be discounted, despite concerns regarding her effectiveness over this shorter trip.
Leg 3: Race 7 – Winter Sprint 1200m
6-QUESTIONING won a similar contest over 1100m last month and seems capable of following up over 1200m. 5-JERUSALEMA RAIN, 11-RIO QUERARI, 9-MUFASA and 7-BEREAVE finished behind him that day. 3-MEU CAPITANO is progressive and has won back-to-back outings over track and trip, so is dangerous to ignore. Best advice: banker 6-QUESTIONING or include all the runners mentioned!
Leg 4: Race 8 – Somerset 1200 (Listed) 1200m
8-LION RAMPART and 6-TALK TO THE MASTER have more experience than most and both boast good feature-race form. That will stand them in good stead in this company. 2-KAIBOY and 4-MISS WORLD have form behind those rivals so shouldn't be underestimated. 7-TANNERON ran well in open company last time and could pose more of a threat against her contemporaries.
Suggested R300 JACKPOT PERM:
Leg 1: 3, 5, 6
Leg 2: 1, 2, 4, 7
Leg 3: 3, 5, 6, 7, 11
Leg 4: 2, 4, 6, 7, 8
