JUVE GET THE BOOT
Juventus have been kicked out of Europe this season by UEFA for breaching Financial Fair Play rules. Massimiliano Allegri's side will not compete in the Europa Conference League, where they were one of the favourites to win the third-tier competition. The Serie A side, who finished in seventh position last term, have also been handed a mammoth 17.1-million pound fine by European football’s governing body. Juventus’ breaches relate to player registrations rights between 2019 and 2021. Fiorentina, who lost to West Ham in last season’s Europa Conference League final, will now likely replace Juve after they finished eighth in the Italian top flight.
