Jacks Parrot can benefit from dropping in class to take the Xenon Workplace North Wales National Handicap Chase at Bangor.
This race will not be for the faint hearted given it is over three miles andfive furlongs in what will be gruelling conditions.
To say he is only seven, Jacks Parrot has a lot of experience in the bank as he was chasing as a four-year-old in France.
He won two of his first three for Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero but has been allowed little respite from the handicapper since.
After a fine run in the 2024 Tommy Whittle when second to Egbert at such a young age, it was pretty obvious that race was going to be a target again this season and while he ran respectably in third, nothing could get near Grand Geste that day.
He was due to run at Windsor last month but scoped badly but if he is over whatever was ailing him there, back down in a class four he should find things easier.
Dan Skelton's Big Cadillac is another dropping down in grade for the HRS Cladding Maiden Hurdle.
He won a Chepstow bumper last January, beating David Pipe's Gentleman Toboot who has already won twice over hurdles.
Big Cadillac was just over five lengths behind Starzand on his hurdling debut and then not totally disgraced in Grade Two company at Cheltenham behind stablemate Carlenrig.
The only horse he finished in front of that day, Reckless Spending, has bolted up since.
Heavenly Heather was spotted making good headway late on behind The Caltonian last time out and can turn the tables in the SBK: No Casino Just Sports Handicap at Newcastle.
Famed for springing a 200-1 surprise on All-Weather Finals day last year, Tracey Waggott's mare has continued to improve.
Wins here in December and January meant she earned a crack at a valuable trial for the sprint final but she was short of room and when she eventually got in the clear The Caltonian had flown.
On 4lb better terms Heavenly Heather is fancied to get her revenge in the #55,000 feature.
Tom Marquand's booking by Oliver Cole for Champagne Powder in the Tipping Tom On SBK Bet Feed Handicap catches the eye.
Champagne Powder was only beaten a head last time out, having won the race before that and the first-time cheekpieces here along with Marquand suggests another big run.
Tony Carroll has few peers when it comes to racking up a sequence on the all-weather and Royal Jet is his latest project.
He has won at Southwell and Lingfield and now aims to win at Wolverhampton for the first time in the Bet #10 Get #40 With BetMGM Handicap.
Following his two wins the handicapper has given him a mark of 60 but he runs here off 58 so is 2lb well-in.
