JACARANDA FM Named Official Radio Partner of the 2025 Betway Summer Cup

Johannesburg, South Africa — 4Racing are proud to announce JACARANDA FM as the Official Radio Partner for the 2025 Betway Summer Cup, Gauteng’s premier horse racing event.

The Summer Cup has been Johannesburg’s marquee race day, dating back to the very first running on 15 July 1887 and making it as deeply rooted in the Highveld soil as the City itself.

This year’s event takes place on Saturday, 29 November 2025, at Turffontein Racecourse, and is themed ‘Jozi Rising’ to celebrate all that makes the metropolis unique.

Jacaranda FM joins headline sponsor Betway, supported by Jetour South Africa, TAB, Racing Today, Racing 240 and BET International.

A stellar draft of 42 nominations was received at first entry stage on 8 October, including 2024 Betway Summer Cup winner Atticus Finch and 2023 winner Royal Victory. Supported by a host of some of the top racing talent from around the country, the field is shaping up to being another clash for the ages. The final fields and draws will be announced on 19 November. With announcements for the full undercard and entertainment eagerly awaited, the 2025 Betway Summer Cup is firmly on track to deliver as Johannesburg’s best end of year party!
