Incorrect horse names in Abu Dhabi result

The result of Race 2 at Abu Dhabi on 3 December as posted by TAB and TAB Gold was correct in terms of horse numbers, but the runner names were incorrect because the racecard numbers of several horses were changed after the official fields were disseminated by the Emirates Racing Authority.

Due to an oversight, TAB and TAB Gold were not informed of these changes and consequently the official result posted by TAB and TAB Gold was 1ST - 2 Ghayathh; 2ND - 10 Jina’an; 3RD - 3 Hm Alchahine; 4TH - 4 Kakko De Faust.

This was based on the official field supplied, whereas the actual result was 2 Hm Alchahine followed home by 10 Jina’an, 3 Kakko de Faust and 4 Kanaille de Faust.

The numbers of these four runners in the official racecard published by TAB and TAB Gold, and utilised by customers to bet, were: 3 Hm Alchahine, 10 Jina’an, 4 Kakko de Faust and 5 Kanaille de Faust. Consequently, TAB and TAB Gold will pay out winning bets arising from this result.

All retail customers who have discarded winning tickets are encouraged to submit claim forms and the balances of all account holders have already been adjusted accordingly. Obviously, customers cannot be paid for both results and whichever result yields the highest return applies.
