Hettie Jack can get her nose back in front in the British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies’ Restricted Novice Stakes at Yarmouth.
The daughter of Havana Gold did not disgrace herself on debut in May when she came home fourth at Doncaster, beaten only three and a half lengths by The Dragon King.
She was slowly away that day and came on for that run as she broke her maiden next time out at Goodwood.
Racing towards the rear, she was switched to the outside to hit the front a furlong out and kept on to win comfortably by a length and three-quarters.
She then hung right in the final furlong which proved costly at Ffos Las as she was beaten just a head by the odds-on Cayman Tai.
And in the hands of Callum Shepherd, the George-Scott trained filly can put that behind her and return to the winner’s enclosure.
Kinako Mochi can return to the racecourse after a 153-day break with victory in the QuinnBet Daily Free Bet Maiden Fillies’ Stakes.
The Siyouni filly was second on the all-weather at Kempton on her debut over six furlongs as a juvenile before another extended break saw her return with another second when stepped up to seven furlongs on the Lingfield all-weather.
A switch to turf and going up in trip to a mile can see the Roger Varian-trained filly go one better.
Accrual has recovered from a poor racecourse debut this summer with a pair of wins and can complete a quickfire hat-trick in the Quinnbet Acca Bonus Handicap.
The gelding came home last of seven on that first outing over six furlongs at Windsor in May but put that well and truly behind him when dropped back in trip to beat Balmoral Lady by a short head last month.
He again showed his preference for a five-furlong trip when doubling up in the hands of Saffie Osborne at Wolverhampton and with Richard Kingscote this time doing the steering, the treble can be hit despite a 6lb penalty.
Sea Of Diamonds can make it two from two in the Download The Racecourse App Raceday Ready Restricted Novice Stakes at Lingfield.
The Sands Of Mali filly made an impressive racecourse debut when running out a cosy winner by two and a quarter lengths at Redcar in the hands of apprentice Laura Coughlan.
Archie Watson has had a good season with his two-year-olds so far and with Hollie Doyle in the plate, the Lambourn handler can close in on 50 winners for the season.
A fourth win of the season is there for the taking for Wannabe Brave in the Free Digital Racecard At raceday-ready.com Handicap.
The five-year-old son of Fastnet Rock was well beaten on a brief foray into hurdling at Huntingdon.
But a switch back to the flat bore fruit with a trio of wins on the all-weather at Wolverhampton, Chelmsford and Lingfield before a third-placed finish when last seen last month at Kempton.
A first turf victory is there for the taking for James Fanshawe’s inmate.
Trevaunance can claim a third victory at Group level in the Darley Irish EBF Stanerra Stakes at Fairyhouse.
The Jessica Harrington-trained five-year-old was fourth in the Bronte Cup at York before being beaten by Sumiha by one and a quarter lengths in the Munster Oaks.
But the step back up to one and three-quarter miles can see the daughter of Muhaarar back to winning ways.
