Greyville meeting abandoned

July 2021

AERIAL VIEW OF GREYVILLE RACECOURSE

The race meeting scheduled for Greyville on Wednesday 14 July has been abandoned due to the ongoing protest action and the volatility of the situation.

Monday’s meeting at the  same venue was also called off due to protest action in Durban and surrounding areas.

Durban and surrounding areas have been particularly hard hit during the looting spree currently gripping KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng.

The decision was taken after considering the safety of all stakeholders.

Entries for Scottsville 18 July, Greyville 19 July and Scottsville 21 July will be reopened.
