After a rare winless outing at the last Fairview meeting, the champion combination of trainer Alan Greeff and jockey Richard Fourie will be eager to strike back on the Polytrack this Friday.
They have winning chances throughout the day but it is not going to be easy to find the winners box at a competitive meeting of eight races on Friday the 13th.
Guerra (race 4) and Travel Master (race 6) are two Greeff horses which will have many supporters.
Fourie had a tough time with Guerra over the final 400m in his last race. Guerra hung inwards on that occasion and had to settle for second place.
He is in good form though and a possible banker in the handicap over 1600m, the first leg of the first Jackpot at 14:30.
Travel Master is another Greeff runner in good form and has a huge winning chance in race six, a handicap over 1400m, at 15:40.
He also takes a drop in class and can make it career victory number seven from a good draw.
Travel Master should fight it with Guarding The Wall (Sharon Kotzen) for the win.
Guarding The Wall is in good form and drawn right next to Travel Master. This should be an exciting battle – take the Exacta.
Get It Done (race 3) is another Kotzen runner with a huge winning chance. The mare seems to prefer the grass surface but is in good enough form to win this handicap over 1900m.
Hugsandhighfives (Gavin Smith) was a bit unlucky in her last start. She is one of the dangers in the first leg of the Pick Six at 13:55.
Smith can start the meeting on a winning note with Ruby Claire in the first race, but it is a competitive Bipot opener at 12:45.
Conditions at Fairview might be tricky with a strong head wind predicted.
