South African jockey Ryan Munger could not have had a better start to his new career in Canada with a victory in his first ride at Woodbine Racecourse in Toronto on Saturday.
It was actually a pick-up ride, as original jockey Kazushi Kamura got a late call to ride in the Kentucky Derby.
Munger made the best of that opportunity aboard 6-1 shot Silent Miracle for trainer John Mattine in Race 6. Silent Miracle tracked the leaders and then angled five wide turning for home.
He was carried out late by a drifting rival having taken a narrow lead and just held on for the victory.
That'll do nicely for a Kempton winner
That'll Do Moss will do just nicely in the CopyBet Mares' Hurdle at Kempton on Monday.
