Selangor racing continues on Saturday featuring a thrilling nine-race card with highly competitive action expected throughout the day.

Talented sprinter Gamestonk appears ideally placed to chalk up his 11th Malaysian victory when he steps out in the 1200m Metro A contest at Kuala Lumpur.

Gamestonk, trained by Joseph Leck and to be ridden by son Clyde Leck, will be coming off a career best performance when he ended the unbeaten run of smart four-year-old Antipodean, who was aiming for his eighth successive win. The eight-year-old was heavily supported when leading throughout to score by half a length over the 1300m trip.

Currently rated as Malaysia’s third highest galloper, Gamestonk has scored twice in three starts at the track and distance and is on target for back-to-back victories.

Fourteen start maiden performer, Lim’s Sinai receives his best chance of breaking through in the 1300m Class 5 event.

Arriving in Malaysia with four minor placings from thirteen starts to its credit when based in Singapore, Lim’s Sinai was a fraction unlucky not to win at his local debut. The five-year-old was specked in the market and was beaten a short head over 1100m after shifting in abruptly in the closing stages here on September 1.

Lim’s Sinai will strip fitter from that run and is a likely contender to break the maiden status at his second run in the country. - iRACE Magazine
