Freedom calls at Windsor

Mr Freedom can chalk up his hat-trick in the Follow @AtTheRaces On Twitter Handicap on Sunday at Windsor.

The four-year-old has been in excellent heart for Sheena West in recent weeks, following a short break at the end of his winter hurdling campaign.

His fifth in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham was the high point of his endeavours over obstacles and he seems to have found a new level of form since returning to the level this summer, winning at Lingfield at the start of June before turning out 11 days later to follow up at Windsor.

Mr Freedom won off a mark of 61 on the first occasion and now competes off 73 which is testament to his progression and while it means more is required, the manner of those two wins suggests there is still something in the locker.

Flying Kiss is an interesting contender in the At The Races App Form Study Novice Stakes.

She finished third on her only start to date at Chelmsford in January, coming home four lengths behind Cool Lightning with Prospering second and the pair both having won again since.

The form looks fair and a switch back to five furlongs from six could be a positive.

Tarbet came home mid-pack on her Windsor debut but a second visit to the Thameside track can lead to better fortunes in the At The Races App Market Movers Fillies' Novice Stakes.

She was not particularly well supported on her first attempt but ran a sound enough race, just dropping away as the race began in earnest to be beaten nearly six lengths in sixth.

The experience should not be lost on her.

Jaytee can take a starring role at Uttoxeter in the feature bet365 Summer Cup Handicap Chase.

Touched off by a neck at Southwell in May, he has since returned to that track to win twice, scoring by 11 lengths on the first occasion and 26 lengths the second time, despite a horrible blunder at the final obstacle.

Those wins coincided with the application of a visor and while the winning margins were perhaps reflective of limited competition, Jaytee could raise his game for this contest.

Sacre Coeur made a decent start for Dan Skelton when second at Market Rasen in early June.

Previously trained by Jonjo O'Neill, she beat subsequent Grade One scorer Apple Away back in December before slightly losing her way later in the campaign.

Subsequently sold for 12,500 guineas, Sacre Coeur was given a breathing operation and her initial run for Skelton was promising, beaten four and three-quarter lengths over an inadequate two-and-a-half-mile trip.

Upped to just short of three miles in the bet365 Handicap Hurdle, Sacre Coeur is one to follow.

Hard As Nails makes a start over obstacles in the Hadwins Mares' Novices' Hurdle at Cartmel.

Winner of two of her four bumper starts, summer ground seems to suit her perfectly.

Classic action is the order of the day in Ireland and it will be a huge shock if Epsom hero Auguste Rodin cannot follow up in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh.

He showed his 2000 Guineas flop to be merely a blip when scything through the Derby field to see off King Of Steel by half a length with White Birch nearly five lengths back in third.

That rival reopposes here and could well close the gap, but Auguste Rodin is still expected to come out on top. - Press Association
