Mach Four could be the best of the Snaith runners with Fourie up.
This Dynasty gelding produced some sparkling finishes to win his two races before a downfield run in the Grade 3 Politician Stakes. That run over the longer trip may have come too soon.
He is back over what looks his best trip for now and could be too good for the field he meets in Race 7, a MR 83 Handicap over 1400m.
Umkhomazi has yet to run a bad race and could ready to win when she lines up in Race 1, a Maiden Plate for fillies and mares over 1400m. She has run past horses in all of her starts but has had a habit of hanging out which could have cost her last time.
She also had those two good runs on the Polytrack and her form on the turf has not been that exciting.
With that in mind, it might be safer to go with Lady Of Lutetia. She has had plenty of chances but has been ultra-consistent and this race could just see her find a path to the winner’s enclosure.
Anton Marcus takes the ride on Paul Lafferty’s charge, she looks as if the drop to 1400m will suit her, and she’s drawn No 1.
Other interesting looking bets are Essence (Race 2), She’s A Keeper (Race 6) and Hugs Accepted (Race 8).
