Fast Love is ready to win

 Fast Love was highly thought off by his yard when starting out. He came from the clouds to win his maiden in style as a juvenile when with Glen Kotzen and was soon after tested in the leading race for juveniles - the Grade 1 Premier’s Champion Stakes.

He didn’t do much in that or in the Western Cape features but he finally found his feet in handicaps.

He then changed yards, joining Johan Janse van Vuuren on the Highveld who put him through his paces and again he ran some fair races without winning.

His merit rating has not dropped all that much and now having gone full circle, on Monday he returns to the track on which he won his maiden, the Polytrack at Hollywoodbets Greyville.

He makes his comeback in Race 2, a Conditional Novice over 1400m, where his merit rating places him near the top of the best-weighted column. As a result, he looks a solid each-way bet.

Dawn Mission rates the best bet on the card and could jump at restricted odds in Race 4, a Maiden Plate over 2000m. If the odds are more generous, then get on and remember to banker him in all bets.

He too has battled to make up the leeway on the hard winter Highveld tracks and looked an unlucky loser on his Polytrack debut when defeated by Duke Of Normandy.

He was carried out in the closing stages of that race and was only beaten a short head.

In his last start he found only promising Boundless Bash too good and had many a fair sort well beat.

Both Masters Beauty (Race 6) and Winter Pearl (Race 7) could be the value options on the card.
