Headline: England, Italy in tough start to qualifying campaign

England have a tough start to their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign as they go away to Italy tonight in a repeat of the last European Championship final at Wembley Stadium. More details at www.soccer6.co.za

M1 Ghana vs Angola: Both countries have four points from their first two games in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying Group E. It is a first game in charge of the Black Stars for Chris Hughton.

M2 Zambia vs Lesotho: Avram Grant is the new coach of Zambia, who suffered an upset loss to Lesotho at the Cosafa Cup two years ago.

M3 Gabon vs Sudan: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is no longer available for Gabon after announcing his retirement from international football. Sudan beat DR Congo in their last Africa Cup of Nations qualifying Group I game last June.

M4 Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Iceland: This is a first meeting between these two countries, who have previously qualified for the Euro finals and created some disruption.

M5 Denmark vs Finland: Finland claimed their first victory at a major finals on their last visit to the Danish capital, but the teams' Euro 2020 group stage fixture was overshadowed by a medical emergency involving Christian Eriksen shortly before half-time.

M6 Italy vs England: England have not won in the last six meetings between the two giants of world football, with four draws and two losses.

M7 North Macedonia vs Malta: Malta are yet to win in six past clashes against North Macedonia, drawing their last meeting but losing the rest.

M8 Portugal vs Liechtenstein: An easy start for Roberto Martinez as the new manager of Portugal. Liechtenstein have lost their previous 13 encounters.

M9 San Marino vs Northern Ireland: Northern Ireland have scored 14 goals without reply in winning their previous four clashes with tiny San Marino.

M10 Slovakia vs Luxembourg: Slovakia’s last three matches were all drawn. Luxembourg are on a five match unbeaten run.

Suggested permutation:

R8.00 1 x 1 x 1 x 1,2 x 1 x 2,3 x 1 x 1 x 3 x 1
