Durbanville meeting abandoned

The remainder of the meeting at Hollywoodbets Durbanville (Races 4 to 9) on Wednesday, 24 July 2024 have been abandoned.

Despite the track being deemed suitable for racing after gallops in the morning, the jockeys felt that the track deteriorated since the non-stop rainfall experienced during the morning.

In the interests of the safety of horses and riders, a decision was taken to abandon the remainder of the race.
