Don't miss this one at Exeter

Don't Rightly Know can add another Listed triumph to her tally in the South West Rail Solutions Ltd Mares' Chase at Exeter on Friday.

The 10-year-old has hit new heights this term, winning each of her two chase outings, including at this level at Newbury last time out.

Polly Gundry's charge has only had 10 rules outings to date, with a 709-day absence partly accounting for her limited action so far.

The patience of connections has been rewarded though, with a Grade Two hurdles placing last year demonstrating the Malinas mare's ability before really starting to reach her potential sent over fences this term.

A 10-length winner at this track in December, she then moved up to Listed level at Newbury and fended off Apple Away by just over a length, with the value of that form underlined by the runner-up taking second again in Haydock's National Trial last week.

The handicapper hiked her 10lb for the win and while a revised mark of 137 still leaves her with a bit to find against Gavin Cromwell's pair of La Malmason and Malina Girl, Don't Rightly Know is on a roll and looks to have more progression to come.

Planned Paradise can make it back-to-back wins for Christian Williams in the Nick Ansell, Devon National Handicap Chase.

The nine-year-old fluffed his lines when pulled up on his penultimate start at Fakenham, but showed his true colours when stepped back up in trip at Windsor last time.

Running over an extended 5600m, Planned Paradise was an authoritative winner and despite a 5lb rise to a mark of 112, he is still well handicapped on his best form.

Deafening Silence looks well placed to break his duck over fences at Warwick.

The eight-year-old looked a really smart prospect for Dan Skelton when winning a Grade Two hurdle at Sandown in December 2023, but then he was off the track for just short of a year.

He posted a really promising effort on his chasing debut when third behind Trelawne and leading Grand National hope Iroko, before a trip to Cheltenham in December appeared a step too far.

Tried in slightly easier company and upped to 4800m at Windsor recently, he again shaped with much more promise and kept at that trip, he can give the Skelton team a winner at their local track in the Warwick Novices' Chase.

Bear Market is on a retrieval mission in the EBF "National Hunt" Novices' Hurdle.

A point-to-point winner last March, his initial bumper win at Aintree in May reads well as the second, Miami Magic, has been placed in Grade One company over hurdles since.

Bear Market was sent off an odds-on favourite on his first attempt over hurdles here in December, only to be pulled up before the second-last as Nico de Boinville felt he lost his action.

Nicky Henderson has given him plenty of time to get over that experience and Bear Market can now make his mark.

Rohaan is not the force of old but can prove good enough in Southwell's Weekly £5 Free Bet With BetUK Handicap.

Rated 116 in his pomp and a dual Wokingham and Group Three winner, Rohaan has not won in over a year now and his mark has duly dwindled to his current perch of 87.

The seven-year-old has been thereabouts in all three of his outings this winter though, and it could be dangerous to dismiss him off his lowest rating in four years. - Press Association
