Bet on the FA Cup final with TAB

TAB is reintroducing two bets to its range of soccer pools from this weekend.

Soccer 8 Halftime Fulltime (HF), which was offered during the World Cup in Qatar, reappears this Saturday and includes three cup finals, notably the Wembley clash between Manchester City and crosstown foes Manchester United.

Soccer 8 HF is an exciting bet that comprises four matches. To win, players must forecast both the halftime result and fulltime result of each match, choosing from the standard three result options: 1 = Team A win; 2 = Draw; 3 = Team B win. The unit cost of the bet is R3 and a single or multiple entry can be played. The cost of a multiple entry is R3 per combination.

The bet has eight match numbers (M1 to M8) with an H to denote halftime and F for fulltime after each match number. Use odd match numbers (M1H, M3H, M5H and M7H) for halftime result choices in each game and even match numbers for fulltime predictions.

Please note that the bet must be called to tellers in TABs. Do not use the TAB soccer betting form. So as an example call your bet as follows: “Soccer 8 V1 (or V2 - this will be clearly shown with each pool). M1 numbers 2 and 3; M2 number 2; M3 number 1; M4 number 1” etc.

Also back on the menu is Soccer 1, which kicks off again this Saturday with the FA Cup final between Manchester neighbours City and United, which kicks off at 16:00.

A Soccer 1 bet has six possible results: 1 = Team A to win by difference of one goal (example 4-3); 2 = Team A to win by difference of two or more goals (example 2-0); 3 = no score draw (0-0 only); 4 = score draw (example 1- 1; 2- 2); 5 = Team B to win by one goal; 6 = Team B to win by two or more goals.

The unit cost of the bet is R1 with a minimum bet of R6.

TAB customers will also have the chance to bet on a midweek Soccer Any 13 Xtra when there sufficient matches.
