Punters have been sent a tough task this Friday because while the Polytrack meeting may comprise small fields, most of the races look difficult.
However, Bournemouth is the eyecatcher when first going through the card. This four-year-old gelding contests Race 7, a Pinnacle Stakes over 2200m.
Trainer Alan Greeff has done a very good job with Bournemouth as five wins have come his way in just 10 starts under his care.
The Canford Cliffs gelding was very impressive on the turf last time out over 2400m, winning by 7.25 lengths. He may well have won by further if jockey Richard Fourie had wanted to.
Bournemouth has also won over the course and distance in July.
Fourie has been aboard him in all 10 of his local starts and will take the ride again.
The race to become South African Champion Jockey took an interesting turn last week with Fourie catching rival Muzi Yeni and heading him by just one victory going into Friday’s meeting.
Yeni will not go down without a fight and he has a winning chance on Grand Destiny in Race 6.
Grand Destiny has been runner-up four times this year and Yeni knows how to get the best out of him.
The Master Of My Fate gelding is overdue a win and is over a course and distance that clearly suits. This is not a strong field and Grand Destiny should prove hard to beat.
