Jockey Richard Fourie may have broken the record, but he is unlikely to put on the brakes with regards to riding winners.

He rarely goes home from Fairview without a winner and there are a couple, at least, that stand out on Friday when they race on the Polytrack.

In Race 5, a MR 86 Handicap over 2000m, gelding Central City is in good form and should be ready to fight out the finish.

Unlike most of the runners who join trainer Alan Greeff’s stable, the improvement with Central City was not immediate. But he was a winner last time on the Polytrack and has run two very good races since then.

Central City has often had some tough draws for his jockey to navigate but that will not be the case this time as he will jump from stall No 3.

In Race 7, a MR 78 Handicap for fillies and mares over 1200m, three-year-old filly Gocekwithlove makes her Eastern Cape debut, and it could be a winning one.

The Danon Platina filly scored just once in six starts for trainer Mike de Kock but ran consistently well in others apart from her latest start when eighth in a feature race.

Gocekwithlove is well drawn for her first taste of the Polytrack but has run well when put around a turn.
