ADEUS, DOMINGUEZ
Mozambican captain Dominguez, otherwise known as Elias Pelembe, is leaving South African football after a galactic 15-season career in the DStv Premiership. The 39-year-old, who was the oldest player in the South African top-flight last season, is going home and joining União Desportiva do Songo after coming to the end of his contract at Royal AM. He has signed a one-season deal with the team based in Tete province, who have won three of the past five Mocambola championships. Pelembe is a former Player of the Season in South Africa who was described by Gavin Hunt as the best player he had worked with.
