With the second leg of the SA Triple Crown and Wilgerbosdrift SA Triple Tiara headlining the program on Saturday, some of South Africa’s finest 3-year-old horses are set to provide a sizzling display of equine action.
The SA Classic Race Day is always a highly anticipated event with the second leg of the Triple Crown (The SA Classic) and the Triple Tiara (the Wilgerbosdrift SA Fillies Classic) – both Grade 1 races – being run.
Ikigai and Summer Pudding, winners of the first leg of the Triple Crown and Triple Tiara respectively, will no doubt go all out to keep their hopes of a series-victory alive. Winning the Triple Crown bonus is a rare feat achieved by only a handful of legends in the history of the series.
With free entry for racegoers on SA Classics Day, or Family Fun Day as it’s affectionately known, a fun-filled day for the whole family is yet again guaranteed.
Bring the little ones to experience the thrill of live horseracing as some of South Africa’s best up-and-coming racehorses thunder past the finish line vying for glory. Greet the jockeys and trainers as they make their way around the parade ring and witness the elation live as the victorious connections make their way into the Winners’ enclosure.

The Furious Room and Deck are hosting a Sushi & Champagne themed lunch, perfect for celebrating a special occasion or just to enjoy a delicious Saturday lunch.
